November Superstar Spotlights

November brought a new month of opportunities for our staff to brighten our residents' day and vice versa. We love getting to talk about the incredible individuals inside our facility that make a difference every day; residents, staff and all! We believe every person is here for a reason and impacts each other's lives. A couple of individuals that stood out this month are Stacy Lester, STNA, and Anette Griffith.
Stacy Lester, STNA, was awarded Employee of the Month for November because of her outstanding worth ethic and attention to detail when caring for her residents. She has been an STNA since 1997, working in several different buildings throughout the years. Stacey shared,
"I enjoy working at Concord because of the nursing staff. Teresa Dean, DON, will not ask anybody to do anything she will not do herself. I have the utmost respect for her and will continue to work here as long as I can. I also enjoy the variety of residents that reside in our facility.”
We awarded Anette Griffith, which also goes by Nettie, Resident of the Month for November. She is new to our facility and has already touched the hearts of many. We have loved getting to know her better and finding out what she likes to do. She has enjoyed playing, coloring, and caring for her Winnie the Pooh. She says very few words, but when she sees her caregivers, she always greets them with,
"There's my girl!"
It's a pleasure having both Stacy and Nettie at Concord. They bring so much happiness and warmth to others. Thank you for making a difference at our premier nursing facility!
