Scioto County's only Ventilator Unit

Wheelersburg, Ohio - Concord Health and Rehabilitation offers Ventilator Care to Scioto County and the surrounding areas. Concord offers short-term and long-term services on our 12-bed wing dedicated to ventilator care. Our ventilator unit offers eight private rooms nursing staff trained in Tracheostomy and Ventilator Care.

Ventilator care is our specialty; our knowledge is our strength. Our team of Critical Care Respiratory Therapists are trained in the latest ventilator management techniques and certified in advanced cardiac life support. Concord offers ASHA certified & Vital stim certified speech-language pathologist on staff.

We at Concord Health and Rehabilitation want to assure every resident and family that we will work with them to meet their goals. Our staff works with our Medical Director and physicians to provide this highly specialized care to our residents. Training is available for family members and home care nursing staff for residents who would like to return home but will require respiratory support upon discharge.

Training is available through our facility or in collaboration with a home ventilator company for the following: Ventilator care, suctioning, pulse oximetry, nebulizer, tracheostomy care and percussion vests.
